Highlights • Among 3294 patients with cancer, COVID-19 hospitalization and ICU admission rates decreased through the pandemic phases. • Among hospitalized patients, no significant change observed for COVID-19 mortality, across the four pandemic phases. • Complete vaccination had a protective effect in COVID-19 hospitalization, ICU admission and overall survival but not after adjusting for socio-economic and demographic parameters. • This updated COVID-19 and CAncer REgistry analysis, jointly with Belgian Society of Medical Oncology and Portuguese Society of Medical Oncology, highlights factors that significantly affect COVID-19 outcomes. • Our study provide actionable clues for further reducing mortality.
