Neutrophil extracellular traps are key features of cellular innate immunity mediated by polymorphonuclear neutrophils. The NET-associated RNA (naRNA)-LL37 composite danger-associated molecular pattern defines sterile NETs as self-propagating drivers of inflammation that amplify neutrophil activation.
